The conference was held as scheduled on Friday, April 7 at Vermont Law School, and according to formal evaluations and informal reports was a great success–about 80 people participated, most from New England but a half dozen from Honduras, from a dozen or more organizations. A report with photos is here; archived video of the plenary sessions, including former Vermont Governor Madelein Kunin’s keynote address, can be found here.
Many of the participants expressed interest in continuing the conversations that began there, and on behalf of all the sponsoring organizations Americans Caring Teaching Sharing (ACTS) volunteers will maintain this Web site and a mailing list of the participants. We will distribute announcements to the list; if you’d like to be added to the list and receive updates, use the registration page here.
Many thanks to all who helped; please keep in touch.
